Minnesota Viking fans fairytale season ended Sunday, but they are still excited about what they seen this season. The biggest question on their minds will Brett Favre return for another season. Favre has indicated he wants to take some time off and talk to his family and think about it. Many people think he is going to retire again. Well I am not so sure about that one.
Favre knows he has a team that can make a Super Bowl and actually win it. It is very hard to walk away when your so close. Favre knows this is probably the last time he will have a chance to make a Super Bowl. I think he will come back, but the Vikings need to get better pass protection for him. He took a pounding in the NFC Championship and he just can’t continue to that. In the off-season the Vikings need to upgrade the line and get him more protection. If they do that look for Favre to come back.
No matter what anyone says about Brett Favre the one thing we all know he is a competitor and always gives it his best shot. He has never ducked the media and has been first class all the way. If he comes back it will be his last year. Minnesota Viking fans are hoping to ride Favre one last time. Hopefully to a Super Bowl appearance in 2011. Only time will tell if that is the Vikings destiny, but first Favre has to say yes let’s do this thing one more time.

Jose Canseco has been ridiculed for many different things, but the one thing we all must admit he has been honest about steroid use. It seems his book juiced was just suppose to be a tell all to make him money. The truth is it’s the bible as far as steroids go. It seems all the people that Canseco has implicated has steroid user has been pretty accurate.
Now the weird part about all this is Canseco has really been blackballed, for telling baseball fans the truth. Mark McGwire has a job in baseball now after finally coming clean. I think years ago Canseco told us McGwire was not clean at all. In fact he has indicated some Hall Of Famer members have used the juice. This is scary especially if he is telling the truth.
I wonder when this will all end. People can say what they want about Jose Canseco, but the one thing we can thank him for is at least being honest about what has been going on in baseball. Why many swept it under the carpet at least Canseco was honest with us. He should be commended for it and not hail as a villain which so many people seem to point him as.

Well not to often do I pick games right in the NFL, but I did pick the two championship game winners. Maybe I need to go to Vegas lol! Now let’s get to the games which were both entertaining games for the most part. The Colts dispatched of the New York Jets by a score of 30-17. Peyton Manning rallied the troops at halftime and the Colts came out and dominated the second half to get the win. The Jets played well, but against the Colt you do have to play for four quarters if you want to beat them.
For the Vikings they are going to look at their loss in the NFC Championship as blown chances. New Orleans got a 40 yard field goal in overtime to win it by a score of 31-28. The Vikings had five turnovers including a costly interception by Brett Favre towards the end that cost them. The bottom line is you cannot turn the ball over especially like the Vikings did and expect to be a good team just does not happen.
