When the announcement that Urban Meyer was resigning as head football coach of Florida many thoughts went through by head. Coaching is a tough profession and it does take a toll on family life, health and many other things that people just do not see from the outside.  I have coached and I know how it affects you in many different ways. Urban Meyer has some health issues that he wants to take care of and I applaud him for doing that, Without health you cannot enjoy family or your life.

Many people wonder if he will return to coaching. Being an old coach my guess would be yes. I think it will take some time, but do not be surprise to see Urban Meyer back on the sideline in a few years. Many times once it is in your blood it is very tough to get rid of. Hopefully he will get his health in check and who knows in the future we may see him once again leading another team to a National Championship. In life you can really never say never unless you mean it.

It seems that Bowl game wins are becoming old hat for Utah as they beat Cal by a score of 37-27 for their ninth straight Bowl Game win. Jordan Wynn threw for a career-high 338 yards and three touchdowns to rally No. 23 Utah from an early two-touchdown deficit to a 37-27 victory over California in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

Utah scored 27 straight points and Cal really had no answers for them. Utah has now won nine in a row which is second on the list behind Florida State which won 11 in a row. Cal is the fifth team from a BCS conference to lose to Utah during the streak which shows you they are beating all kinds of different schools.
