Gavin Floyd flirted again with a no-hit bid until Joe Maurer ended his thoughts in the ninth inning, but the Chicago White Sox still won the game by a score of 7-1, which ended their losing streak. Ozzie Guillen who blew up a couple of days ago needed a strong effort like this and that is exactly what he got nine strong innings from Gavin who now has flirted with a no-hitter not once, but twice already. It looks like he may get one this year if he keeps this up.
