Carlos Boozer Lead Utah Jazz To Victory In Game 3
In the first two games many people thought Carlos Boozer had lost his touch and that his game was gone, well he’s back. Boozer tossed in 27 points and grabbed a playoff high 20 rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz to a 104-99 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Boozer was huge down the stretch and hit some very clutch shots to give the Jazz their first win in this series. Deron Williams had 18 points and 12 assists also for the Utah Jazz to back Boozer’s performance.
Utah held Kobe Bryant in check in the first half, but the second half was another story. Bryant ended up with 34 points total, but down the stretch he could not get open and when he did he was not able to knock down any shots that really mattered.
The Utah Jazz will need a similar performance from Boozer and Williams if they hope to tie the series up 2-2 and send it back to Los Angeles as a dead heat. I am sure a huge Mothers Day crowd will be their Sunday as well. It will also be interesting to see how the Lakers bounce back as well from this loss.
