Detroit Sends Magics Back To Orlando With Another Loss
The Detroit Pistons missed 64 percent of their shots and they had a Orlando guarantee hanging on the game and Chauncey Billups did not play either, but it did not matter as Detroit got a 91-86 win over Orlando. The Detroit Pistons played defense when it counted the most the last two minutes of the game and Rip Hamilton tossed in 31 points to lead them to their sixth consecutive Eastern Conference Finals.
For the Orlando Magics it was another case of to many turnovers 21 in fact and poor shooting when it counted most. Orlando had three games in the series where they could have won it down the stretch, but they were not able to. This goes to show you experience is a very big factor in the playoffs. Detroit has it Orlando does not plain and simple.
Now Detroit with this win is hoping the Cleveland vs Boston series goes seven games because this will give them plenty of time to rest up and get ready for either one. Right now the Detroit Pistons are in a real good position and playing some of their best basketball of the season. That is not good news for the rest of the NBA.
