Spurs Force Game 7 Monday With Big Win
Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili steeped up when the San Antonio Spurs needed them the most as they combined for 45 points in a 99-80 win over the New Orleans Hornets. Tony Parker chipped in 15 points to help back their effort. This forces a Game 7 in New Orleans on Monday where the Spurs have been beat by double digits in every game in this series.
It was the same old story for the New Orleans Hornets in San Antonio as Chris Paul led them, but could get little help from his supporting cast. Unless he gets more help on Monday the Spurs could come in and grab a win in New Orleans. So far this season the home team in the second round of the NBA playoffs is 20-1.
Predicting the winner in this series is tough as the home team has won all the games. This would lead me to believe I should take New Orleans, but I like the defending champions. I just think in a Game 7 they will come to play and will be able to get the job done. It will be a great game though no matter who wins.
