Paul Pierce Wills Celtics To Eastern Conference Finals
Paul Pierce was in a duel with Lebron James as far as points being score which he lost to James. To Pierce though he won the biggest prize and that was the game as he scored 41 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 97-92 win and a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Detroit Pistons.
Lebron James did everything he could to keep Cleveland from losing as he tossed in 45 points, but did not get much help from his supporting cast. The Cavaliers expected James to do to much and in the end that is what killed them. Until they get other players to step up they will never win a championship. James cannot do it by himself. It just does not work that way.
For the Boston Celtics this win gets them back to the Eastern Conference Finals and a date with the Detroit Pistons which should be a war. Both teams are very talented and it will be defense oriented since both teams play that very well. It will be a great series to watch and see who comes out on top.
