Kobe, Lakers Go Up 2-0 On Spurs After Big Win

Kobe Bryant tossed in 22 points and Lamar Odom got 20 points and 12 rebounds enroute to a 101-71 thumping of the San Antonio Spurs and a 2-0 series lead as the games down switch to San Antonio and probably not too soon for the Spurs who are reeling right now. The Lakers play tough at home and when Kobe is on he is very hard to stop. If Lamar Odom continues to play well it will be real hard for the Spurs,

Tim Duncan had 12 points and 16 rebounds, but for the Spurs to win they have to play better defense and get Duncan more help. San Antonio is about helping each other out and that is how they won their championships. The Spurs could have still been thinking about the Game 1 loss where they blew a 20 point lead as well.

Now that the series shifts back to San Antonio for Game 3 this is a must win for the Spurs. They cannot afford to go down 3-0 to the Los Angeles Lakers if they want to have any chance in this series. The Spurs are much better at home than on the road so we will see what they can do in Game three. It should be a very exciting game to watch. I like the Spurs to win Game 3.
