Manu Ginobili did not play well in the first two games of the series and some people did not think he would even play in game three. A bad ankle and a torn fingernail could not stop Ginobili from keeping his promise to carry the Spurs in Game 3. Ginobili tossed in 30 points to lead the Spurs to a 103-84 win. Ginobili did everything for the Spurs and the Lakers really have no answer for him. San Antonio plays very well at home and the Lakers could not match their intensity and thus the series is now only 2-1 in favor of the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant scored 30 points to lead the Lakers, but no one else really stepped up to help Bryant. Lamar Odom who played well in Los Angeles was only 2-11 in Game 3 which really hurt the Lakers. If the Lakers want to win in San Antonio they will need a total team effort not just one player stepping up for the Lakers.

Game 4 will be very interesting for a couple different reasons. The Lakers will need to make some adjustments to stop Manu Ginobili. If the Lakers do that they will have a much better chance. Lamar Odom also needs to have a good game if they hope to have a chance of winning. Kobe cannot do it all. For the Spurs they just have to keep playing hard and try to contain the rest of the Lakers because Kobe will get his points. Game 4 should be a good one.
