Junior Looks To Join The 600 Club
Ken Griffey Jr through the years has always been a very impressive player on the field and he is only one Home Run away from reaching the 600 milestone which is very important to any hitter. Junior in recent years has had to battle injuries and if he had not he would have a lot more Home Runs. In fact he would have a shot at the All-Time Home Run record if he did not have the injuries to deal with. Even with the problems he has encountered Junior is still one of the best.
With all the talk of steroids in baseball Junior is one player who has stayed away from that and done it the right way. He works hard and never has a bad word for anyone. You will not find players like Junior very often and we should embrace his accomplishment. It seems we have overlooked him and that is a shame.
