Travis Henry was released by the Denver Broncos after only one season today. The Broncos  and coach Mike Shanahan felt that Henry was not committed to the Broncos and it was best for the team to release him so he could find work elsewhere. I think that there is much more to this story than what Shanahan or the Broncos want to admit. I know Henry has had some drug questions and personal issues which have never been proven. I look for Henry to hook on with another team fairly quickly.

I am sure in the coming weeks we will find out what the truth is about Henry and why he was let go. I think it was more a combination of salary issues and also personal issues is why Henry was let go. It is kind of a surprise considering Henry had a pretty good year for the Broncos. Signing Michael Pittman also could have weigh on the decision as well.
