Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers did not want to let another team celebrate a championship on their floor as they stopped the Boston Celtics by a score of 103-98. Bryant led the Lakers with 25 points and he also got a lot of help from Pau Gasol as well as Lamar Odom last night. The key though was a steal Bryant got late in the game that turned around the Lakers fortunes. Now it it back to Boston for the Lakers and two must win games.

Paul Pierce did all he could do for the Boston Celtics last night as he tossed in 38 points in the loss. Kevin Garnett was in foul trouble most of the night and really was not that effective. The Celtics play much better at home and that is where the next two games will be played.

As the Lakers head back to Boston they have some serious issues they must correct of they want any chance of winning. First up they have horrible team defense. Most of the time players just stand around like they are lost. Second if the Lakers are going to stand any chance Kobe needs to shoot the ball better as well. I think the Celtics will close it out as they are just too tough at home.

I’m not sure how we got to this point. The Lakers have been so dominant this whole year and throughout the playoffs and it seems that they have hit a wall. The Celtics team defense has shown to be just a little to much for the Lake show. The most surprising aspect about this series is that of Kobe Bryant’s shooting percentage. He is under 30 percent for the series and i would accept that from a role player but if your truly going to live up the hype of being mvp this would be the time to show it. Though i also truly believe the lakers will lose game 6, i would like to see the Lakers go out fighting, with Kobe leading the charge.
