Most people though will remember the titanic blasts off of Hamilton’s bat more than anything. He hit 28 home runs in one round to set a record.

Hamilton has battled many off the field issues and this year he has been able to get everything together and the public finally got to see what a talent this guy really is. A few years ago he was considered a can’t miss prospect and last night he showed people why.

Josh Hamilton maynot have won the Home Run Derby, but he got a lot more he gained respect and many new fans throughout the world. For Hamilton that means more than any trophy he could ever hold up.
