Amazing Mets Continue To Roll On
David Wright’s 2-run home run in the ninth inning sparked a comeback as the New York Mets continued winning as they beat the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 10-8. This marked the 10th straight win for the Mets and they have been playing a lot better since the dismissal of Willie Randolph.
I personally do not think that had much to do with it, but it could have. The Mets were forecast to be a team that would make the playoffs, but early in the season they struggled. After getting rid of Randolph it seems the pressure has lifted and they are now playing better baseball than anyone.
It looks like these Mets are finally getting it together and that means trouble for other teams in the National League. The one thing the Mets have and that is plenty of talent. They are tied with the Philadelphia Phillies for first place right now.
