Kobe Tosses In 19 To Help Down Russia
Kobe Bryant tossed in 19 points and Carmelo Anthony added 17 as Team USA beat Russia by a score of 89-68. The Russian team gave the USA a little trouble then they stepped it up on the defensive end and that was all it took. This team that has been assembled this time around plays very good defense and can get the job done.
Even when you have guys have off nights you have just as much talent on the bench that can come in and score points as well. This is a well rounded team that should do very well in the Olympics. I will be shocked if they do not win the gold medal this time around.
