Colorado Nips West Virginia In Overtime 17-14
Video Above Shows Colorado Fans After Big Win Charge The Field!
Aric Goodman got his chance to make the Buffaloes winners and against the Mountaineers and that is exactly what he did. With the score tied in overtime Colorado’s kicker Aric Goodman kicked a 25 yard field goal to give them the 17-14 win and stay perfect this season while West Virginia falls to 1-2 and out of the Top 25.
For Colorado freshman Rodney Stewart ran for 166 yards on 28 carries while quarterback Cody Hawkins threw two touchdown passes to help give the Buffaloes a very solid offense last night. Pat White led the Mountaineers with 148 yards rushing, but less than 50 yards passing and you will not beat a lot of teams with numbers like that especially on the passing end.
