John Danks pitched a wonderful game for the Chicago White Sox and they got help from Jim Thome in the form of a home run and Ken Griffey Jr made a stellar throw as well to stop the Minnesota Twins by a score of 1-0. The White Sox and the Twins played their hearts out last night and it was a very good game to watch. It is a shame both teams could not make the playoffs as both deserve a shot, but this year it will be the Chicago White Sox.

This means that the city of Chicago has two chances at a World Series as the Cubs and the White Sox made the playoffs. Can you just imagine how popular an all Chicago World Series would be. I guess we will have to see how it all plays out first though.
