Cole Hamels was able to shut down the Los Angeles Dodgers for most of the night and Brad Lidge came in and got the save in the ninth inning as the Phillies edge the Dodgers by a score of 3-2. The Phillies got home runs from Chase Utley and Pat Burrell to help them get the win. The Phillies have a lineup that is loaded and it is just a matter of time before they all start hitting which is scary.

For the Dodgers they just really could not figure out Cole Hamels all night long. Manny Ramirez stayed in the park which is something you must do if you want to beat the Dodgers. It seems they feed of Manny’s home runs and just go from there. This is why you must not let him get untracked if you want to win.
