Texas Stops Oklahoma By A Score Of 45-35

Published by ken77 at 8:50 pm under College Football Edit This

ncf_a_mccoy03_412.jpgOklahoma came in as the best team in College Football, but after Colt McCoy and the Texas Longhorns got done the same story still reigns for the Sooners another wasted season could be on the horizon. McCoy threw for over 250 yards and one touchdown and the Texas defense made the stops needed to give the Longhorns a hard fought 45-35 victory over the Sooners.Oklahoma it seems every year are touted for the National Championship only to lose an important game again. I know Bob Stoops job seems safe, but without winning the big games I really cannot see how long he will keep his job.In a losing effort Sam Bradford  tossed for over 300 yards and threw 5 touchdown passes. The Sooners played well enough to win, but against the Longhorns it was just not good enough.
