Utah Make A Claim For No. 1 After Rout Of Alabama

Published by ken77 under College Football Edit This

Well it looks like the BCS could have a big problem on their hands and this time courtesy of the Utah Utes. Utah was suppose to be a whipping boy for mighty Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, but it was the other way around as Utah routed Alabama by a score of 31-17. This gives Utah a perfect 13-0 record and maybe just a number two finish at most. It will be interesting to see where they land when the poll comes out. Utah started quick against Alabama as Brian Johnson threw three touchdown passes and amassed over 300 yards in the air against a very good Alabama defense. Alabama never could recover from the quick lead that Utah got and the rest was history.

For the BCS now they have a real dilemma as Alabama was a former No.1 that they had and they were routed by Utah this is why folks we need a playoff system so in the end we can find out who really does have the best college football team and who just gets lucky to be there. In the end we will get a playoff system, but for Utah it can’t come soon enough as it may cost them a National Championship.
