Hornets End Lakers Winning Streak At Home
For awhile it looked like no one was going to play defense in the Hornets vs Lakers game, but in the end the Hornets did and it got them a 116-105 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Chris Paul had 32 points and David West had 40, 15 in the decisive fourth quarter where he outscored the Lakers himself. This ended the Lakers 20 game home winning streak and sent home many of the stars that were in attendance to watch the Los Angeles Lakers play. For New Orleans it was a win they needed and a chance to prove the can win anywhere including in Los Angeles.
