Adam Pacman Jones who was released earlier this week by the Dallas Cowboys after evidence surface that he tried to hired some people to killed someone outside an Atlanta Nightclub . According to Pacman Jones he never did this and the Outside The Lines story which broke is just not true. Many people think that the story had a lot to do with the Dallas Cowboys releasing him. There probably is some truth into that, but we will never really know.As far as Pacman Jones goes I have read different reports where he thinks he could be back with the Cowboys before everything is said and done. Even though he is a guy where trouble seems to follow Jerry Jones is a guy who takes chances and if he feels Pacman can help his team he may just give him another shot. For the Dallas Cowboys and their fans I hope Jones does not, but you never really know.

Charles Barkley The TNT announcer who it seems is never lost for words is taking a leave of absence to address his latest legal troubles. It seems the other day he was arrested and charged with a DUI and I am sure that TNT’s higher brass may had some input into Charles taking some time off.Barkley has had some legal troubles last year when he was accused of not paying off an gambling debt to a casino. He later took care of the problem after it got leaked in the press and he took a lot of heat for it. It is widely known that Barkley has had a gambling problem and it looks like an alcohol problem as well.I have always like Charles, but sometimes he does things that make you shake your head. He is always on the younger players in the league about respect and doing the right things, but apparently he forget about the same things he has been preaching. Maybe some time away from the sport will do him some good. I wish Charles well and hope things work out for him.

The Baltimore Ravens have relied on their defense all season long and this day was no different. Ray Lewis and company forced three turnovers in a hard hitting game and Matt Stover hit a 43 yard field goal with 53 seconds left to give the Baltimore Ravens a 13-10 win and a trip to the AFC Championship game.Joe Flacco did what he had to do and did not make any mistakes which helped out a lot. The ravens only managed 9 first downs, but that was enough to get the job done. Baltimore’s rushing attack was non-existent all day long. For Tennessee they did look rusty and having three turnovers did not help them at all. The Titans finished up at 13-4 and in my opinion they will consider it a lost season with a loss in the playoffs.

Today’s NFL games should prove very interesting and could be some great games. First let us take a look at the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Tennessee Titans. Last week the Ravens beat Miami to advance basically on the strength of their defense which will be called upon once again to make plays. Joe Flacco again will need to manage the offense and not make any costly mistakes if they want to win. For the Tennessee Titans they also have one of the best defenses and they will try and pressure Flacco into some mistakes. On offense Kerry Collins is a smart quarterback and will not make big mistakes to cost his team a win. I like the Titans playing at home as they play well their and should get enough scores to win this game. I like them by a score of 21-10.
The second game is the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Carolina Panthers. Arizona coming off a big win against Atlanta hopes to get that high powered offense going against the Panthers. Kurt Warner is going to score some points, but Arizona is not a very good road team which is something that they need to improve on. Meanwhile Carolina plays great at home and I think will easily win this game by a score of 38-28.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continued to roll at home while the Boston Celtics are still scratching their heads trying to figure what is going on with them. Lebron James tossed in 38 points and the Cavaliers put the defensive clamps on Paul Pierce to give the Cavaliers a 98-83 win over the defending NBA Champions. For the Cleveland Cavaliers and their fans this was a game they had to win to prove they can beat Boston and hold home court as well. The Cavaliers are now 19-0 at home. For the Celtics it was just another loss that they have suffered in their latest losing streak that shows no sign of ending. Do not feel bad for the Celtics though they still have a 29-9 record not to bad if you ask me.
