Both the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland cavaliers know how important home court is in the playoffs so this is why last nights match-up was so important to both teams. Before the game Cleveland had it and Boston wanted it. Boston got 29 points from Paul Pierce and Leon Powe tossed in 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Celtics to a 105-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The win also moved the Celtics within percentage points of the Cavaliers for the best record in the eastern Conference.

For the Cavaliers Mo Williams tossed in 26 points while King James only had 21 points as he was off on his shooting. James always seem to struggle in Boston and against the Celtics defense. The Celtics will be without Kevin Garnett for about one more week so this was a very big win for them. Once they get Kevin Garnett back they will be a very tough team to beat.
