Lebron James by everyone’s standards is one of the best players in the NBA, but he failed the sportsmanship test miserably. I will agree he is a top notch player, but when you lose you need to man up and congratulate the other team who beat you. The Magics played better then James supporting cast and he should have been on the court to congratulate them on a well played series, but he choose to run and hid.
According to various reports he was upset because the Cavaliers lost, well that is part of the game as we all cannot be winners. James had a great series, but probably will be remembered for the disappearing act he did after the series was over. It is a shame that a player such as him would pull a stunt like this. Hopefully he will explain his actions and show the Magics the proper respect they deserve for playing a great series. James will take a hard hit on this one no matter what his explanation is.

The SEC is out to prove they belong in the World’s College Softball World Series and so far so good. Alabama used Pinch-hitter Jazlyn Lunceford who hit her first career grand slam to lead the Crimson Tide to a 6-2 victory over Arizona State.
Georgia won twice in the semifinals and took down Michigan as well as they used the long ball in a 7-5 victory. Georgia used four home runs to come from behind to get the win. Florida the number one team in the country also continue to roll along as well. It looks like the SEC it going to add another title to their belt and that will be a Women’s College World Series Championship.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had the best record in the NBA, but someone forgot to tell the Orlando Magics as they sent King James and the Cavaliers to exile with a 103-90 win. Everyone thought the Cavaliers would steamroll over the Orlando Magics, but the opposite happen as the Cavaliers game Lebron James no help at all and you will never win one against five.
Last night Orlando’s Dwight Howard started fast and the Cavaliers had no answers for him as he tossed in 40 points and Rashard Lewis added 18 points in the win. The Magics bench play was another big factor in this series as well as they outscored Cleveland’s bench easily to help fuel this series win.
Lebron James played his heart out and if it was not for him the Cavaliers would have got swept. His supporting cast was AWOL all series long and you cannot expect him to do everything himself. I was disappointed that James did not address reporters, but it was a crushing defeat for him considering all he did in the series and he got nothing for it.
In the end the Orlando Magics just had to many weapons for the Cavaliers who never got much help from anyone except James. The Cavaliers will have a very interesting off-season as they will have a bunch of decisions to make. Many guys will not be back or trade I have this feeling. The Cavaliers have proven they cannot play well against a good team with this group so changes need to be made.

After losing the NBA Finals last year all Kobe Bryant could think about is getting back and get another chance at winning it. He did his part last night as he tossed in 35 points and had 10 assists in the Lakers 119-92 rout of the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers were tested by the Denver Nuggets and they answered the bell every time they needed too. It seemed when the Lakers needed players to step up they did and that is why the Lakers are moving on.
For the Denver Nuggets they made it to the NBA Western Conference Finals which is something they should be proud of. This was a learning experience for them and they showed people they are an up and coming team that you will have to deal with in the future. Even though they were eliminated in six games the Nuggets will be back next year and even hungrier.
