Tom Glavine Deserved Better From The Braves
Tom Glavine who was dumped early in the week deserved better treatment then he was given by the Atlanta Braves. The Braves decided to cut him after the brass decided they wanted to go with a younger pitcher. Now going with a younger pitcher is fine and dandy, but my question is why did you sign him in the first place. You could have saved the trouble and you would not look as bad as you do right now.
Glavine was in the minors trying to get his arm strength back so he could pitch for you. Glavine wanted to retire as a Brave as he did spent most of his years in Atlanta. I think a guy who has won 300 games and has always gave the Braves the best everytime he went out on the mound deserved much better. The Braves fans also deserved much better from a front office as well. No matter how you cut it this was not handle well at all.
