Will Brett Favre Make Much Of A Difference
As the summer goes along I wonder what Minnesota Vikings fans are thinking about the Brett Favre saga. Are they on board? Or do they want to go in a different direction? My real problem with the whole situation is the Vikings are basically renting Favre for a year or two and after he is done playing they are still back at square one looking for a starting quarterback.
I think it would make much more sense to let Favre stay retired and build your team around a quarterback that will be with the Vikings for the long haul not just two or three years. Teams do not every consistently win by changing quarterbacks or offensive systems all the time. I guess we will see how this experiment works as it does look like Favre could be the guy who leads the Vikings this coming year. Like him or hate him Favre is going be the leader and that is a shame that the Vikings brass did not just stick with the players they got right now. Years ago Favre was at the top of his game, but that is not the case anymore.
