Plaxico Burress Get Two Years In Prison With Plea Deal
Looking at maybe a 3 1/2 year prison sentence Plaxico Burress decided that it made much more sense to accept the plea deal which means he will serve two years in prison on weapons charges. Personally, I think that is a little harsh considering he shot himself, but that is what the penalty is. Burress will probably be able to resume his career in 2011 if he can find a team to play for.
Burress was also suspended by the NFL as well once the prison term was announced. Burress cannot sign with a team until he completes his prison sentence. Burress was a player throughout his career has been plaque with different problems and hopefully this will be the end of it and he will come out and be a productive member of society no matter what he chooses to do.
