I will admit so far this college football season has been really weird. Some of the teams that you expected to be at the top are. There have been some disappointments and some surprises as well. I would say for me the biggest shockers have been Cincinnati and Iowa. Both teams are still undefeated and trying to get a BCS game and it is possible both teams could get one.

Teams like Oklahoma and USC have been a disappointment. USC got their lunch handed to them in Oregon which was a shock to me. The loss was not the shock it was how bad they got beat. Oklahoma has struggled this season as starting quarterback Sam Bradford has been hurt and they are just not the same team.

Then you have Boise State who is undefeated and has hired a PR firm to help them with the BCS. I do not know what good that will do them, but you never know. The interesting thing about this year is it is possible to have four or five undefeated teams when it comes time to pick the championship game. I am sure we will have some unhappy fans, teams, and coaches this year. Of course we have a long way to go yet so we will see.

At least we can say it has been a weird season so far and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. College Football is one sport that is hard to predict, but we all still try. I will just sit back and enjoy the games and let the chips fall as they may.

It seems that everyone wants to blame Terrelle Pryor for the Ohio State Buckeyes latest loss in which they lost to a Purdue team they were suppose to have no trouble with. Yes, Pryor has made some bad decisions, but benching him is not the answer. First your talking about a young man who is just a sophomore and will make mistakes it’s just human nature.

Secondly, the Ohio State offense just do not have that many weapons as they have had in the past. A lot is being put on his shoulders and until the Buckeyes find some other offensive options the Buckeyes will continue to struggle. Yes, Pryor needs to protect the ball a lot better, but unless he gets more playmakers on offense he will struggle. Pryor is young and before he is done will be a very good quarterback, but unless he gets some help they will continue to lose games.
