This week we lost an icon that thrilled everyone with his music and touched many lives. Most people do not equate Michael Jackson with sports, but his music still is used by ball players even after his death. After hearing of his death many Major League players asked to use some of his songs as they walk to the plate or out of the bullpen. Several Milwaukee Brewer players did and are planning to use them longer as a tribute and respect for the great entertainer.
Most people do not realize that Michael jackson crossed many different boundaries and sports was just another one that he touched. His music will be around forever and will be missed, but his legacy will live forever and you might just hear his music at your favorite ball park as well.

If you have been following Sports Hits for anytime you have realized that we love sports of all kinds and the people who play it. This is why I have come up with the Sports Hits Hall Of Fame. At the top of this blog you will see a link where you can click on to read everyday about our newest addition to the Hall Of Fame.
Now the people who will be added to the Sports Hits Hall Of Fame are players who may not have the stats you need to get to the regular Hall of Fame in their sport, but still made a valuable contribution to their teams and help them win. There are many deserving players out their so look for the first entry tomorrow. You can also send me nominations in on who you think should be there as well. It can come from any sport men or women does not matter. This should be a lot of fun and your input is always something I look forward to.

Everyone thinks that Tennis is the only sport that has hot ladies, but golf also has their fair share as well. Natalie Gulbis is one lady golfer that turns heads everywhere she goes and don’t look for that to change anytime in the future either. Gulbis started at a very early age in golf as she became interested at just 3 1/2 years old. By seven years old she won her first golf tournament and now has two professional wins. Gulbis does a lot of print work as well as this beauty has it all. Besides beauty she can swing a golf club with the best of them as well.

The Washington Huskies have been road warriors and for this they now can call themselves College Softball World Series Champions. Florida was considered the favorite to win this World Series, but the Huskies proved in the two game sweep that they had the metal to take on anybody. The Pac-10 has won 21 of the 27 Women’s College World Series titles which shows you how dominate the Pac-10 has been over the years.
For Florida they have been one of the best teams all year long, but they could not get the job done when it counted. The Gators have nothing to hang their heads about as they did everything they could. They just ran up against a Huskies team that was playing just as good as they were.
The College Softball World Series was another great one and I really enjoy watching all the games. It seems it gets bigger each year and I do not see that changing anytime soon.
